Introduction to Our Gas Cylinder Cages
Gas Cylinder Cages are designed to safely store and protect gas cylinders and bottles. Considering many of these gas cylinders can contain hazardous gases that are toxic, corrosive or flammable, storing them somewhere secure ensures the safety of yourself and all personnel at your workplace. At Equip2Go, we have a variety of gas cylinder storage cabinets available.
Gas Cylinder Cages Industrial Uses
Industrial Storage Cabinets are used in a variety of industrial environments to store gas cylinders, such as factories, warehouses, power stations, laboratories, workshops and more. Examples of gas cylinders that are commonly stored in safety cabinets include LPG cylinders, acetylene cylinders, aerosol cans, forklift gas bottles and other compressed gas cylinders.
Things to Consider When Choosing One of Our Gas Cylinder Cages
Before choosing a gas cylinder cage, it is important to be aware of the suitability of our cages for different gas cylinders. For example, we have LPG gas cylinder cages that are suitable for horizontal LPG cylinder, such as our Gas Cylinder Storage Cage ā 4 x 18kg LPG and our Gas Cylinder Storage Cage ā 8 x 18kg LPG. We also have gas cylinder cages that are suitable for vertical āGā cylinders, like our Gas Cylinder Storage Cage ā 9 x āGā Cylinders and our Gas Cylinder Storage Cage ā 18 x āGā Cylinders.
Safety Features of Our Industrial Gas Cylinder Cages
Our gas bottle safety cages have a number of safety features to ensure you and your employees can preserve your safety when storing hazardous substances. These features include safety chains on all of our gas bottle storage cabinets for added security, as well as each safety cage being a high visibility yellow for awareness in the workplace. Additionally, all of our forklift gas cylinder cages are designed to comply with Australian and New Zealand Standards AS4332 and AS/NZS 1596.
Safety Measures You Can Take to Maintain a Safe Workplace
Apart from the safety features our gas cylinder cages are equipped with, you should also keep in mind a few safety measures. Firstly, consider the environment in which you intend to store these gas cylinders. This is particularly important as temperature, moisture and light can have a negative impact on some substances. Secondly, be sure to avoid storing your gas bottles near any sources of heat or ignition. This can generally be done by placing any and all gas cylinder storage cabinets at least 3 metres away from any combustible materials, vegetation or waste, and at least 1 metre away from any building windows, doors, air vents and ducting. Finally, since leaked gases can pose major safety risks to your workplace (especially if they are toxic, corrosive or flammable), it is a good idea to keep oxygen cylinder cages outdoors. That way, any leaked gases can disperse safely into the outside atmosphere.
Our assortment of industrial gas cylinder cages offers the ideal solution to storing hazardous substances in any workplace. With warehousing operations located in Dandenong South (VIC), Campbellfield (VIC), Wetherill Park (NSW), Canning Vale (WA) and Yatala (QLD), Equip2Go is your trusted provider of gas cylinder cages Australia.
